During the month of Ramadan, the MCECC offers free, daily Iftars (dinner) for all members of the community. Each iftar is generously sponsored by our generous community members. We also hold taraweeh prayers everyday and finish the entire Quran before the end of the month.
Eid Prayers
MCECC organizes and sponsors both Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha prayers. Many volunteers are needed setting/cleaning up both before and after the Eid prayer.
Qurbani Assistance
MCECC coordinates between animal suppliers and members of the community to assist them in offering Qurbani (sacrifice) on Eid-ul-Adha. Prominent members of the community also host Eid picnics for the community.
Eid Carnival
Every year after both Eids, the MCECC holds an Eid Carnival. All games, foods, drinks, and other activities are organized and sponsored by many volunteers and community members.
Zakat and Zakat-ul-Fitr (Fitrana) Distribution
MCECC provides Zakat and Zakat-ul-Fitr (Fitrana) distribution services to its community members. MCECC allows its members to donate Zakat (charity), which we distribute among the poor and needy, according to Islamic rules.
